What if California could have an extra $11 billion every year to fund our schools, community colleges, parks, libraries, health clinics, affordable housing, homeless services and roads? What if LA County alone could get $3.6 BILLION?

The California Schools and Local Communities Funding Act of 2018 is the only fair way to restore billions of dollars of reliable revenue every year for our schools and local communities without raising taxes on homeowners, renters, farmers, or small businesses.

We are part of a coalition -- of community groups, educators, parents, local community leaders and more than 250 organizations statewide -- working to get this common sense measure on the ballot in November 2018.

The coalition needs to collect 100,000 signatures over the next 8 weeks to get on the ballot.

Members of LA Forward's Investing in Our Communities Task Force will begin gathering signatures this weekend at fun events around town. If you are interested in joining in, fill out this form and you'll hear back soon from one of our grassroots leaders!
